Agribotix Hornet UAV Lease
Agribotix services begin with a drone lease. As a co-op or crop consultant, or in some cases an individual farmer, you contract with Agribotix to use our cloud-based software services. In exchange, Agribotix provides you with a Hornet drone, bungee launcher, complete ground station, and two day training in the safe and efficient operation of drone aircraft for agricultural applications. You are free to use the drone and associated equipment as much as you like throughout the growing season and, at the end of the season, you return everything to Agribotix for refurbishment and redeployment. This ensures you will always have the latest in drone technologies and minimizes the capital outlay required to get this technology onto your farm. Keep up to date with other co-ops using Agribotix drones on the Blog and Connect with Agribotix to learn more.
After receiving your drone and training from Agribotix, you will want to begin flying your fields and collecting data that will allow you to save money and time. The raw form of these data is a series of images collected by the color and infrared cameras carried by the Agribotix Hornet. However, these images are significantly more valuable when stitched together and georeferenced, enabling easy viewing on mobile applications like Google Earth. This process is achieved through Agribotix's cloud-based software solution. Once your images are collected, simply create an account under the Customers tab, upload your images, and NDVI and color field maps will appear in your account in several hours. These images can then be accessed in Google Earth and important field management decisions can be made with this valuable information.
The value of your drone-collected images increases over time. Over multiple seasons, it is possible to spot trends and identify problems before they occur using sophisticated analytics. Agribotix will store all of your past seasons' data in our secure cloud servers, allowing you to access years of data in one easy portal. Maps from previous years can be overlaid on current maps, enabling rapid benchmarking and the establishment of best practices for each of your fields.
