View your RGB or NIR Stitched Imagery and your NDVI Field Health Report to scout your field for areas that need a closer look. You can easily find problem areas in your fields, identify weeds, irrigation problems, and a host of other issues that manifest as reduced relative crop health.
The Agribotix Field Health Report is based on the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), a measure of relative plant health within your survey area. NDVI is driven by the way that plants reflect near infrared (NIR) light: healthy, vigorously growing plants reflect large amounts of near infrared light while less healthy plants reflect less. To maximize the value of the NDVI image, it’s important to ground truth the NDVI product and establish why an area within your field is displayed as more or less healthy. This is especially important if you plan on using variable rate application of inputs like seed or fertilizer.
